Candidates who have passed Class 12 or pre-university exam are eligible to apply for BCom course offered at GM University Davangere. Aspirants who have completed PUC-II in Science, Arts or Commerce with at least 35% aggregate can also apply for the BCom programme. A candidate who has passed JODC / three year Diploma in Engineering of Government of Karnataka or any other examination considered as equivalent thereto shall be eligible for admission.

The goverment has started the Prime Minister's Special Scholarship Scheme for J&K Students to pursue UG studies outside the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
