Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University is a private university located in Gorakhpur and was established in 1957. DDU is accredited by NAAC with a grade of A+. The university is recognised by the UGC and has 350 affiliated colleges and six faculty members comprising 32 departments.
Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University has not released the 2024 statistics yet. However, the NIRF report 2024 is out. According to the report, 796 UG (3-year) and 987 PG (2-year) students were placed in the 2023 drive. Therefore, we can conclude that DDU GKP is a good college.

No, admission to the BTech programme at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University requires a valid JEE Main score. The university uses JEE Main ranks for seat allocation through the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counseling process. Without JEE, candidates are unlikely to be considered for B.Tech admission at DDU. For courses other than BTech the candidate can get admission without JEE exam.

No, B.Tech direct admission at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University is not available. In most cases, the eligibility is on the basis of marks in JEE Main followed by further eligibility on seat allotment through Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counseling (UPTAC) for admissions. Candidates will have to fulfill all their eligibility criteria and also go through all the processes needed for these admissions.
