It is a very good option to be in K.M. Shah to have BDS because they give a lot of clinical experience and practical training in all the departments such as implantology, oral surgery and orthodontics. The education there is evidence-based. Backed by skilled faculty, modern facilities, affiliation with the hospitals, and the strong mentorship platform, the dental school prepares its grads well in attaining a stable career in the field, clinically and academically.

In order to get yourself into BDS programme at K.M. Shah, candidates need to have a minimum of 50 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology of 10+2, and must qualify in NEET UG. ACPUGMEC conducts all the admissions through NEET counseling and all the seat allotment is made according to the NEET rank, reservation rule and availability of seats. This is an officially adopted meritocratic selection pattern in the college.

There is a big difference in the hostel fee charged by K.M. Shah according to the room perks. Non-AC double/single rooms are between INR 36,000-70,000 a year (per occupant), attached washrooms/ common washrooms and refundable deposits. AC rooms or T-type suites cost upto INR 1,60,000, in addition to compulsory mess fee of approximately INR 50,400 each year.

Sure, K.M. Shah Dental College is a well reputed institute of Vadodara as well as Gujarat. Being the oldest privately run dental college in the state, it is affiliated to Sumandeep Vidyapeeth (A+ NAAC), the college has 100 seats in BDS and 44 in MDS, modern labs, teaching hospital and a name to reckon with in the realms of clinical training and community service.

K.M.Shah Dental College & Hospital, Vadodara, is famous as the first ever and only private dental college in Gujarat, initiated in 1999-2000 and the first institute to provide evidence based dental education. It is attached to Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, and the DCI accredited it.
