BTech admissions at DBUU are primarily merit-based. Aspirants are not required to take any entrance exam for BTech admission. The university selects prospective students based on their merit in Class 12/equivalent exam. Aspirants must ensure applying before the application deadline. They must also ensure that they fulfil the preset eligibility criteria for BTech admission and have the required documents to prove their eligibility. The last date to apply for BTech admission at DBUU varies yearly. As of now, the university has not specified any last date to apply. The university starts accepting registrations around Nov-Dec of the year preceeding the admission year. As the admission and the eligibility criteria are based on their Class 12 merit, aspirants are advised to submit an application soon after their Class 12 results are declared to avoid missing a deadline.

Yes, DBUU provides lateral entry admission to some of its BTech specialisations. These specialisations include Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, CSE, etc. Eligible students can get admitted directly to the second year of the BTech programme. To be eligible for BTech (Lateral Entry) admission, candidates must have passed the Diploma examination with at least 45% in any branch of Engineering and Technology. The cost of BTech at DBUU depends on the specialisation chosen by the candidates. DBUU BTech fees range between INR 3 Lacs and INR 6.6 lakh for various specialisations. In addition to the course fees, students must submit an exam fee of INR 36,000 over the four-year duration. Further, a one-time fee of INR 10,000 must be paid by selected students at admission. This includes the admission fee of INR 7,000 and the university enrollment fee of INR 3,000. It must be noted that the mentioned fee is sourced from the official website of the university.
