During Dibrugarh University placements 2022, many recruiters visited the company. Some of these recruiters include TCS, Vodafone, Airtel, Volkswagen, TCG Life Sciences, Sun Pharma, ITC Food, ICICI Bank, HDFC Life, Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation, Capgemini, Azim Premji Foundation, etc. A total of 61 out of 170 BTech students were placed and the median package offered was INR 4 LPA during placement 2022. The sectors in which the students got placed include Operations, Sales, Education, Business Development, and Engineering.

Dibrugarh University is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education AICTE), NCT, and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities. The university has 177 affiliated institutes and colleges, spread across nine districts of Assam and 17 departments.
