As per DPG Degree College MCA selection criteria, candidates are shortlisted according to the last qualifying exam score. They must have graduated from a recognised university with at least 50% aggregate. Apart from this, seat allotment is done considering the students' performance in academics as a whole. Hence, the college does not offer provisional admission. However, they are required to furnish the documents they need to ascertain their eligibility.

To be eligible for the scholarship for the BCA programme, the candidates need to make sure to meet certain merit-based criteria as indicated by the previous qualifying exam. DPG Degree College is a less expensive option for enrolling in a Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) than Lingaya's Vidyapeeth. The overall tuition fee for the BCA programme at DPG Degree College is around INR 1.6 lakh for the whole three-year course. In comparison, Lingaya's Vidyapeeth charges a total tuition fee between INR 2.2 Lacs and INR 3.6 lakh for the same period. Hence, DPG Degree College provides a cost-effective option for studying BCA.

The DPGDC BCA placement has not been released yet. However, according to the consolidated DPGDC placement report, there were 200 students who registered, and out of them, 60 students were offered a placement. The maximum package given was INR 8.4 LPA. In addition, the top recruiters were Convergys, Genpact, Reliance Jio, Avantha Technology, Fingaro, Cog Culture, Edukon Digital, etc.

The DPG Degree College refund policy for all courses, such as BCA, states that students are not entitled to any refund of tuition fees and other charges paid for the year. Thus, after paying the fees, they become non-refundable. Furthermore, it must be noted that the said DPGDC refund policy is obtained from the sanctioned authority. Nevertheless, it is still subject to change.
