Dr. D. Y. Patil Dental College and Hospital

As one of the few dental schools that gives its students the most options, Dr. D.Y. Patil Dental College provides highly proficient instruction in a variety of dentistry disciplines. 49 students are trained in nine specialisations each year under MDS courses. Approximately 100 students are trained there annually for the undergraduate BDS programme. Additionally, the college offers Dental Mechanics, a two-year Diploma programme that is accredited by Dr. D. Y. Patil Dental College and recognised by the Dental Council of India. Additionally, PhD programmes are offered. There are also numerous other fellowship programmes offered, such as fellowships in contemporary endodontics and implant dentistry.

About 49 students a year are trained in the nine dental specialties of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Medicine and Radiology, Pedodontics & Preventive Dentistry, Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge, Periodontology, Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics, Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, Oral Pathology & Microbiology, and Public Health Dentistry at Dr. D. Y. Patil Dental College & Hospital. The college offers two to eight seats for each of its specialties. The placement rate at the DY Patil Dental College Pune MDS placements in 2022 was 100%, according to the NIRF report 2023 from the college.
