At Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Tranining and Placement cell actively supports students in their placement-related activities. 

In previous years,

2006-2008, 100% placement

2007-2009, 82% studentss placed through institute and remaining were self employed

2008-2010, 87% students placed through institure and remaining were self employed

Hey Nishar,  

MBBS stands for Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and it is a five year undergraduate medical degree.MSC stands for Master of Science and it is a two year post graduate degree.Both degrees are reputed in their respective fields and are considered STEM degrees.And both the degrees focus on Science and medicine.

One of the main differences between MBBS and M.Sc is that MBBS is a professional branch while M.Sc is not considered a professional branch. After completion of M.Sc, one can get into research programs or research or teaching etc. but you cannot do the same with MBBS degrees.

Yes, Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical college offers better placements than Oasis college of Science and Management.

The highest package offered by OASIS college was around INR 6 Lakhs per annum and the average package was around INR 2 Lakhs per annum. The top recruiters of the institution were Rao Nursing Home, Omlab, Shashwat Hospital and Sanjeevani Hospital.

Whereas Dr. D.Y. Patil University is visited by many reputed companies and it holds a record of placement of 187 students in the previous year. The highest package recorded by the institution was around INR 15 Lacs and the average package was INR 7.5 Lakhs per annum.

Dr. D.Y Patil Medical College is a deemed University located in Pune and it is accredited by NAAC by A+ grade. It's visited by many reputed companies and institutions and hence it makes one eligible for many opportunities by the institution itself.

No, you are not eligible for admission to Dr. DY Patil College on the basis of your BITSAT Score as the institution does not allow merit based on the scores of BITSAT. But the institution does follow a very smooth admission process based on the candidate's score in the NEET UG EXAM, JEE MAIN, CAT, NATA, MHT CET, GMAT, GRE etc. I hope this will be of assistance to you.

No, one is not able to join Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College directly without an entrance exam. The institution follows merit-based admission which is formulated on the basis of candidates' scores of NEET-UG exam followed by many other accepted exams such as MHT CET, NATA, GRE etc.

Dr. D.Y. Patil College is a reputed institute located in Navi Mumbai and it offers various courses including M.Sc in many fields and specialisations. Admission process is merit based and the merit formation includes AIPGNET Marks of the candidate.
