The entrance exam required for B.Des at ITM Institute of Design and Media, Andheri West is ITM-IDM Entrance Exam and the exam pattern is CIT (Common Intelligence Test). 

This exam is conducted by the ITM Institute of Design and Media (ITM-IDM) everyear in Online and offline mode. The exam duration is 2 hours. The exam purpose is admission to UG design courses offered by the institute. More than 80 test cities across the country for ITM-IDM Entrance Exam.

As per the ICSE exam day guidelines 2025, the following items are not allowed to be carried inside the exam hall:

• Mobile phones
• Bluetooth devices
• Earphones
• Microphones
• Pagers
• Health bands or any other electronic gadgets
• Any printed/blank/hand written paper
• Log tables
• Writing pads
• Scales

It is important to note that any unfair means will not be allowed during the exam, and students must not carry any electronic gadgets inside the exam hall. They must reach the examination hall at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination, and must carry their respective ICSE admit cards.

According to the ICSE exam day guidelines for 2026, students must reach the examination hall at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam. This is to ensure that they can complete the reading time and are ready to start the exam on time. This will give them the confidence to attempt the paper to the best of their ability.

ITM Institute of Design and Media admission is based on entrance eam. The ITM Institute of Design and Media, Andheri West entrance exam will have three parts:

• A Common Intelligence Test (CIT) of 60 minutes duration
• A portfolio evaluation round of around 15-30 minutes
• A Personal interview round.  

The ITM IDM entrance exam is held once in a year and it is conducted in both online and offline mode only in English Language. The fee of entrance exam is INR 1500.

Though it is important to have an English language proficiency score to study Masters in Computer Science in Australia, it is equally important to meet other entry requirements such as having a bachelor’s degree, work experience, and other application materials.
