The full form of Andhra Pradesh EdCET exam is Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test. Andhra Pradesh EdCET exam is conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). The exam is held to offer admission to aspirants in B.Ed regular programme of two years duration. The scores of APEd CET are used to get admissions to University/Government/Aided/Un-aided/Private Colleges of Education in Andhra Pradesh.

In order to apply for Andhra Pradesh EdCET exam, candidates were required to have passed the qualifying exam with minimum 50% marks. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria were supposed to fill the application form by visiting the official website of the exam. Candidates can check the APEdCET eligibility criteria as per educational qualification below:

AP EdCET exam isusually held in the month of June by the exam conducting body. For this academic session, APEdCET exam was held on June 14. Earlier, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam also revised the exam dates to third week of June from May 20. Later, the complete revised exam schedule for APEdCET was released by the exam conducting body at the official website of the exam i.e., cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. Candidates were supposed to check the official website of the exam to know about APEdCET exam related dates or this page.
