Different instutes have different rules on the marital status for the CDS exam. The criteria for the marital status for various defence institutes have been given below for the candidates:

• For Indian Military Academy: Unmarried 
• For Indian Naval Academy: Unmarried 
• For Indian Air Force: Married and Unmarried

Note: The married candiddates must be equal to or above 25 years. However, during the training the candidates will not be provided with any married accommodation nor they can live out from the academy premises with the family.

• For  OTA Male: Umarried
• For OTA Female: Unmarried, Divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) and Widows who have not been remarried

Note: Male divorcee or widow will not be considered as unmarried for the purpose of admission in IMA/INA/AFA/OTA

Yes, you can join the LNM Institute of Information Technology without taking JEE Mains. LNMIIT offers multiple modes of admission, including a regular mode that considers JEE Mains scores, as well as other modes that are merit-based or entrance-based. Students must have passed the Class 12th examination with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects, along with one out of Biology, Informatics Practises, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, or Technical Vocational. Also, students must have passed with an aggregate of at least 60 percent marks or an equivalent grade in the 12th grade examination.
