The official CG PET eligibility criteria is prepared and released by the authorities of CPEB. According to the eligibility criteria, all candidates need to meet the upper age limit to be eligible for admissions through CG PET. The upper age limit for CG PET is 30 years as on July 1st of the admission year. For the reserved category candidates, the authorities provide a relaxation of 3 years. No. As of now, CG PET 2023 was not cancelled. The authorities conducted the entrance examination as per schedule. As per the official statistics, out of the total 23,492 applicants, 13,589 candidates appeared for the examination while 9,903 were not present for the examination. CG PET 2023 was held in 59 centres across the state.

During the counselling process, the WBJEE seat allotment will depend on various factors related to the entrance examination. The authorities will allot seats to the candidates according to their obtained WBJEE/JEE Main rank, preferences, category and seat availability. Since the order of preferences is an important factor in the seat allotment process, the candidates are advised to submit as many choices as possible during the WBJEE counselling registration process.
