Obsessed with crime docs and want to make it your day job? Start with Science in 12th, then a B.Sc. in Forensic Science or even Chem/Bio/Physics. Want to go deep? Do an M.Sc. in stuff like DNA Analysis or Cyber Forensics. Intern like crazy in labs or with cops. Then apply to CBI, IB, or forensic labs. Also—short-term certifications in fingerprinting or document analysis? Chef's kiss for your CV.

To get admitted to a Forensic Science program, you generally need to complete your 10+2 with Science subjects, then apply to colleges offering the course, often through entrance exams like CUET, AIFSET, or university-specific tests. Some colleges also offer merit-based admissions based on your 12th-grade scores. Popular colleges include Amity University, Chandigarh University, and various central universities through CUET. After CUET, you'll likely participate in counseling and seat allocation based on your score.
