The GATE 2026 admit card link will be activated on January 2 on the GATE official website- gate2026.iitg.ac.in. Candidates can download using enrollment ID and password.

The GATE branch-wise dates will be released a few days before the announced exam dates. Candidates are advised to check the official website for the latest updates and notifications. The dates will be different for all 30 GATE papers. The details regarding the GATE exam date will be available in the admit card.

IIT Guwahati will conduct GATE 2026 exam on February 7, 8, 14, and 15 in two shifts. The exam timings are Forenoon - 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and afternoon - 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Branch-wise dates have been announced at gate2026.iitg.ac.in

The IIT Guwahati had released the GATE application form on August 28 at the GOAPS portal. The registration window is now closed. The last date to apply was (with late fees) October 13.

IIT Guwahati will conduct the GATE 2026 exam on February 7, 8, 14, and 15. The exam will be held in two sessions- forenoon (9:30 am to 12:30 pm) and afternoon (2:30 pm to 5:30 pm).

Yes, candidates from any academic background can apply for GATE CSE. If you look at the GATE two paper combination list, students with different backgrounds/disciplines are eligible to take the exam.
