Yes, the institute has a functional placement cell that successfully placed 466 students during the 2023 drive. The list of recruiters included different MNCs across India, such as Amazon, Zuari Cements, Verizon, DBS Bank, and many others. The total count of offers received was above 600. Further, the highest package and median package offered to the 2023 batch were INR 23 LPA and INR 5.50 LPA, respectively.  

The University has not released the separate placement details for BTech courses. However, as per the combined placement details, the highest package offered during GITAM University Hyderabad placements 2023 for the School of Technology was INR 23 LPA. In terms of rating, KL is A+ whereas GITAM is only A+. NAAC rating signifies the standard of education. A better rating is always a good thing. GITAM and KL compete well in terms of placements, but KL has a 100% placement record from the past 15 years but GITAM doesn't have any mention of such a track record.

Yes, GITAM Institute of Technology, Hyderabad offers a three-year BTech Lateral Entry course in 11 Engineering specializations, such as Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The minimum eligibility for admission to this programme is a Class 12 qualification with a minimum aggregate of 60%.
