Yes, GJUST does not charge fee from SC students with parental income from all sources up to INR 2.50 Lacs per annum subject to producing the caste and income certificate issued by the competent authority. However, a sum of INR 1,000 (refundable) is charged from SC students who are eligible for Post Matric Scholarship as security/ caution money at the time of admission.

Candidates while applying for a course at GJUST need to upload specified documents. The type of documents varies with the course opted by the aspirants. Check below some common documents required at the time of filling the GJUST application form:

MA is a two-year course divided into four semesters. GJUST offers MA in four specialisations at the PG level. Candidates who have passed graduation with at least 50% aggregate (pass marks for SC candidates of Haryana) can apply for GJUST MA course. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission. 

Additionally, candidates also need to qualify an entrance test conducted by GJUST for admission to MA course. GJUST Entrance Test comprises 100 questions of one mark each. It is a 1.5 hour test which will include multiple-choice questions.

The selection of candidates to the UG or Integrated courses is based on the Entrance Examination conducted by the University (50% weightage) and the marks scored by the candidates in 10+2 (50% weightage).GJU is first Indian University providing Bachelors Degrees in Printing Technology

Out of all the specialisations, the most competitive cutoff was for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering branch. The curriculum of BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering offered at GJUST includes subject related to the specialisation. In the first year of the course, common subjects, such as physics, chemistry, and mathematics have to be studied. A major project has to be submitted in the last semester of the programme.
