The seat allocation at GNIMS would be decided based on the admission process followed by the institute. JBIMS Mumbai offers a total number of 180 seats in the MMS course. To secure a seat in this programme, candidates are required to complete their graduation first with a minimum of 50%. Secondly, they must have secured a valid score in any of these entrance exams: MAH-MBA CET, MAT, XAT, CAT, CMAT, or ATMA.

While preparing the cutoff for the GNIMS Mumbai MMS course, the authorities will consider examination and admission-related factors. The listed factors will be checked and considered by the authorities while determining the cutoff of GNIMS Mumbai MMS - previous years' cutoff trends, difficulty level of exam, total number of qualified candidates, total number of candidates applying for a specific course or institute, number of seats available for admission, etc. After checking all of these factors, the authorities will prepare the GNIMS MMS cutoff for MMS admission.

CAT is not compulsory for admissions to the MBA course at GNIMS Mumbai. However, it is one of the means/accepted entrance exams that the institute considers for admissions to the MBA course.
