Government College

Established in 2008, SPA Vijayawada - School of Planning and Architecture is a government college under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. As an autonomous institution with central funding, it offers B.Arch, B.Plan, M.Arch, M.Plan, and PhD programs.

Affiliated with the Council of Architecture, it is one of three SPAs (the others being New Delhi and Bhopal) reputed for their architecture and planning education. The government location allows it to charge low fees- B.Arch fees total just INR 2.77 lakh- compared to private institutes, and it also gets decent facilities like design studios. . 

Vaagdevi Institute of Technology and Science (VITS) in Kadapa is a private institution. It is run by the Vaagdevi Educational Society with an aim to impart quality education in different areas of Engineering and Management. It was established in 2002 and approved by AICTE. The institute offers intotal of 7 courses.

Dr. Samuel George Institute of Engineering and Technology (SGIET) is a self-financing engineering college in Markapur, Andhra Pradesh. Founded in 2008, the institution is controlled by the Samuel George Educational Society. SGIET provides B.Tech and M.Tech courses in a number of different engineering streams. 

Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and Technology (SVCET), Chittoor, is a private engineering college. It was founded in 2007 and is affiliated with JNTU Anantapur (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur). SVCET provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the fields of Engineering, Management, and Computer Science. 

In Ghaziabad, the Hi-Tech Institute of Engineering and Technology (HIET) is a private university. It was founded by the Anand Educational Society in 2004 and provides undergraduate and graduate courses in management, engineering, and other subjects. The institute is associated with Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU), Meerut, and Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education.

Matoshri Ushatai Jadhav Institute of Management Studies and Research Centre (MUIMRC) is a private college. The college was established in the year 2011 and it is approved by AICTE. The college offers two courses. These are:

• Master of Management Studies (MMS)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Management

Established in 2010, Trinity Academy of Engineering (TAE) is a private engineering college situated in Pune, Maharashtra.  It has been authorized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is associated with Savitribai Phule Pune University.  . It is run by KJ's Educational Institutes (KJEI) and has received an 'A' grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

The hostel fees at the Government College of Engineering and Ceramic Technology are very less, i.e, only around INR 60 per month. This fee includes the electricity charges. However, the student will need to pay separate charges for the mess. There are limited seats available at the hostel.

The private MCKV Institute of Engineering is located in Howrah, West Bengal.  It was established in 1999 and AICTE-approved. It is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT).  It conducts B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA courses and is self-financing.  It has over 100 academic members and world-class facilities and is a three-acre institution that deals in industry-based education and placements at companies like TCS and Cognizant.
