Based on the NEET ranks, scoring 6 lakhs, you probably stand no chance in joining a government medical college. Intake Ranks The cutoff ranks to government medical colleges under NEET are extremely high from 1000- 50000 for General category and from 50000- 150000 for SC/ST/OBC categories. Out of the total MBBS seats about 90,000 approximately, 15% are for All India Quota and the remaining 85% for state quota. You may not even qualify to join any government medical college depending on your rank. There are private medical colleges and deemed universities and you may want to find out the possibilities to study there.

Annual Patterns: Depending on the volume of applications and degree of difficulty cutoffs change.
Depending on your score you might think about applying to acknowledged universities private medical schools or alternative medic

The opening and closing ranks are determined by the candidate's category and quota. The opening rank for the general category under All India was 14566, while the ending rank was 22347. Cut offs vary depending on other categories, female candidates, and even domicile of home state. Admission to Agartala Government Medical College's MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery programme is based on NEET test scores. Applicants should validate the category to which they are applying while looking for cut offs.
