The following are the 2024–2025 hostel costs at HMS Institute of Technology (HMSIT): For four years, male students will pay INR 1,60,000, which includes INR 40,000 per year for rent and the mess. Qualifications for admission to UG and PG programs at H.M.S Institute of Technology. For B.E./B.Tech, candidates must have a 45% cumulative score on their 10+2 exam from any stream, with math and physics being required subjects and computer science, chemistry, and biology being elective. Only the KCET scores are used to determine admission. A bachelor's degree with an aggregate of 50% in any subject is necessary for MBA/PGDM. Additionally required is a Karnataka PGCET or KCET score. M.E./M.Tech: Final-year students may apply provisionally; requires a good GATE score and a related undergraduate degree.
