Yes a career in hospital management is considered very good which offers high growth and stability because of quick growth. 

Graduates can get jobs like hospital administrators, managers or even consultants with starting salaries of INR 3-4 LPA and it rises up to INR 25+ LPA with experience.

No, CAT is not at all necessary for an MBA in Hospital Management. Some colleges also provide MBA in Hospital Management, which may require students to appear for CAT, while others accept other entrance exams such as XAT, NMAT, CMAT, MAH CET, etc.
