Heritage Institute of Technology (HIT), Kolkata, and Roorkee Institute of Technology (RIT), Roorkee, are both good with regard to their B.Tech CSE programs. HIT provides a the highest package of INR 16 LPA and an average of INR 6 LPA with companies such as Google and Amazon. RIT has a the highest package of INR56 LPA and an average of INR 7–8 LPA, with 82.75% placement. HIT is ranked #1 in West Bengal among private engineering colleges. Though HIT provides equal performance and alleged recruiters, RIT is preferred for its large salary offers.

Yes, it is possible to get admission to Heritage Institute of Technology with 25000 rank in WBJEE. The last round closing rank for Heritage Institute of Technology was between the range of 4005 and 82868. At 25000 rank, admission to a few specialisations would be possible. The specialisations available at this rank would be B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering, B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering and B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.

Heritage Institute of Technology accepts WBJEE for admission to BTech specialisations. The cutoff was concluded throughout a few rounds, for candidates belonging to the All India quota. For candidates belonging to the General category, the cutoff was closed between 4005 and 82868. The specialisations with the most difficult cutoff were B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, B.Tech. in Information Technology and B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning).

Heritage Institute of Technology WBJEE cutoff 2025 ranged from 5906 to 67112, wherein the most challenging course was B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering. In contrast, the easiest course for admission was B.Tech. in Civil Engineering.
This is the cutoff for the General AI category; students should know that the cutoff for other categories and courses will vary accordingly.

Yes, Hindustan Institute of Technology offers a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security) through lateral entry. The eligibility for admission is: the candidate must have passed any recognised Diploma examination or equivalent, with an aggregate of 60%, and he or she should have appeared for any state-level entrance exam. Age must be a minimum 16 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.

No, Heritage academy and Heritage institute of technology are not the same but they are both part of the Heritage group of institutions in Kolkata West Bengal India full stop the Heritage academy is a private institute located in anandapur Kolkata near the east Kolkata township in West Bengal India in the same campus where the Heritage institute of technology Kolkata and the Heritage school lies. If you have studied PCBM (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths) in 12th and are weak in Mathematics, you can still be eligible for B.Tech Biotechnology. Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata generally asks for JEE Main or WBJEE score for admission to Biotechnology. However, basic knowledge of mathematics is necessary in biotechnology. If you focus on important topics of mathematics and are interested in the course, then you can choose it.

Yes, Admission to Heritage Institute of Technology is possible without WBJEE exam. These seats can be secured through either JEE Main exam or management quota. However, 80 percent of the total seats are reserved for WBJEE, 20 percent are reserved for management quota and JEE Main. Tuition fee for the management quota can be different and on the higher side.

Heritage Institute of Technology is a private institute which offers quality education. The institute has been established by Kalyan Bharti Trust (KBT). The institute was started with the motto of providing good higher education to the students in the area. The institute has received NAAC accreditation of ‘A’ with a 3.13 CGPA. The institute has also scored autonomous status from UGC. The institute also has NBA approval for required courses.
