A Housekeeper's average salary in India is INR 4.8 LPA. However, salary packages also depend on your work location, company, relevant experience, etc. Apart from that, you can become a House Sitter, Hotel or Restaurant Supervisor, or Operations Executive for a higher salary package.

Yes, there are a few colleges offering Housekeeping courses in distance mode. However, it is advisable to pursue Hospitality courses in full-time, as you'll get to learn more with practical sessions, training, internships, etc.
