In order to get admitted to St. Xavier's College Mumbai's BA Psychology program, applicants must receive at least a 50% on an accredited board. For the B.A. Psychology program, St. Xavier's College in Mumbai does not hold its own entrance exam. A minimum of 45% in the aggregate is required to pass the 10+2 exam from an accredited board or its equivalent to be eligible for this course. Male candidates must pay a tuition charge of ?600, whereas female candidates are exempt from paying any fees. At St. Xavier's in Mumbai, the standard cutoffs for admission are often 85% and higher.

Yes, Pragyan International University does offer a BA in self-study mode, known as external mode. Students who get admission via external mode are provided with course materials by email for undertaking their self-study, and also university offers services such as online doubt clearance. The external mode of education is specially designed for 'Working Professionals'. The University allows external students to undertake multiple exams in a single day to save time. Sample exam papers are provided to the students beforehand to enable them to prepare for the exams effectively.

Yes, students can pursue a BA at Pragyan International University after completion of the class 12 exam. As per the admission guidelines of the university, the basic eligibility criteria is twelve years of school education from any recognised board. The BA programme is offered in regular ( full-time) and external (self-study) modes. Pragyan International University and Swami Vivekanand Subharti University Meerut, are both newly established private universities located in the states of eastern India. Both universities are accredited ‘A’ by NAAC and recognised by UGC as a private university. Additionally, the universities offer all the courses in UG, PG, and Diploma level. However, the course fee of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University is moderately expensive in comparison to the fees of Pragyan International University. Though, Pragyan International University is a private university the course fees are far more affordable in comparison to other private universities. Whereas, Central University of Jharkhand, is a government university and is funded by the government of India, and offers BA courses in integrated mode, which makes the BA programme a bit expensive in comparison to the Pragyan International University BA course. However, the university only offers BA in Psychology and Yoga. Pragyan International University also does not charge more expensive fees like other private universities.
