Once all the seats have been allocated via the GITAM counseling process, students must report at the allocated institute for verification of documents. Following is a list of documents to be carried by these students:
- GAT Score card
- GITAM Seat allotment letter
- Class 10 mark sheet
- Class 12 Marksheet
- Identification Proof
- Category Certificate (if applicable)
- Transfer/Migration and Character Certificate (original)

GITAM School of Technology conducts its common GITAM Admission Test (GAT). Students seeking admission to BA courses at GITAM must appear for the aforementioned examination. After the result declaration of GAT, the admission committee of the institute prepares a rank list based on the GAT scores. Students are selected based on their respective rank and seat intake.

GITAM School of Technology admits students to its BA courses based on merit in the GAT exam. This exam is generally held in many different cycles. For GITAM GAT Cycle 5 the result was announced in May, 2024.

GITAM SOT BA fees is INR 3.3 Lacs for a course duration of three to four years as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is, however, subject to changes and hence, is indicative. This fee comprises of tuition for three years. Year-wise tuition fee in INR is tabulated below:

BA at GITAM School of Technology is a three years undergraduate programme. The course is offered with six different specialisations. Admission to each of specialisation is made based on students' scores in the GAT (Gitam Admission Test). In order to be eligible for the GAT exam, a student must have obtained 50 percent marks in Class 12 in any discipline. In addition to that, the candidate must have also qualified Gitam Admission Test.

No, the mode of study for BA courses at SCAC are completely full-time that means a student have to attend physical classes in the college premises. The workshop and webinars can be held online for student and staff’s convenience, but the classes are always preferred in physical mode. Additionally, SCAC doesn’t provide any distance learnings.

SCAC offers placements and internships opportunities to BA students. In BA honors with Psychology SCAC offers internship in school, old age homes and industries. Additionally, in BA Economics with Business Analytics, SCAC provides industrial visit and internship in Bombay Exchange, ParleG and Mahindra. For BA (Hons) English, SCAC provides membership in different literary and skill based clubs for maintaining the practical exposure of student towards their courses.
