DSE admission to MA course is based on the overall DUET cutoff. Analysing the previous year DSE cutoff 2022, the Round 1 closing percentage for M.A. in Economics was 7.62, for M.A. in Geography, it was 67.45 and for M.A. in Sociology, it was 8.38 for the General category. The DUET cutoff was concluded with the release of Round 4 Seat Allotment. The closing ranks for M.A. in Economics was same i.e 7.62, whereas for M.A. in Geography was 75.78 and for M.A. in Sociology was 55.07. It will take two years atleast to complete your PhD program. It will be mandatory for the students to attend 3 sessions in full-time residence at the university or at any other institution which is approved. The students will start writing their thesis once their coursework is complete.

There are various other factors important than the GPA such as research experience, quality of letters of recommendation, and statement of purpose which may be evaluated while scanning your application. But as per records, the students who got admission at the university had a high GPA. It should also be noted that GRE scores are no more required for pursuing a PhD.
