Admission to the doctoral-level programme is entrance-based. Moreover, the final selection is done based on the statement of purposes, CV/Resume, score of GATE/CAT/XAT/GMAT/UGC/CSIR/JRF/GRE/PhD FEAT, and performance in the online interview round. Apart from this, it is also crucial that the aspirants fulfil the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the university.

There are various components included in the total course fee such as tuition fee, hostel fee, refundable caution money deposit, etc. Candidates not opting for hostel facilities may not be charged for the same. The Flame University fee for BA programme ranges between INR 22.2 lakh and INR 29.6 lakh.

FLAME University offer three-year Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree programme in eight specialisations, namely Economics, Psychology, Literary and Cultural Studies, International Studies, Environmental Studies, Journalism, Public Policy, and Sociology. IIM Visakhapatnam haven't mentioned any fees for the PhD programme. The institution do provide financial support to the candidates pursuing PhD in any specilisation. PhD Program students in good standing will receive a stipend of INR 30,000 per month in the first year with a 10% annual increment up to a maximum of five years in addition to tuition fee waiver.
- Rs.75,000 (in Year 1) and
- Rs.25,000 (annually from Year 2 to Year 5)
- Hostel accommodation will not be provided. HRA of Rs.7,500 per month will be given
- Financial support for attending National / International Conferences.
