Yes, there are courses that combine sociology with filmmaking. Some universities offer programs like media and cultural studies visual anthropology or documentary filmmaking which explore social issues through film. You can also look for specialised master's programs in visual sociology or media studies that integrate both subjects. Institutes like Jawaharlal Nehru university, Tata Institute of Social Sciences and international universities offer such interdisciplinary courses. If you're interested in storytelling with a social perspective these programs could be a great fit.

No, Azim Premji University does not accept the CUET UG scores only for admissions to BA courses. The university offers six specialisations in BA courses, from which some of the BA specialisations might accept CUET scores only. However, the university also accepts valid SAT scores for admissions to BA courses.
Moreover, candidates whose Class 12 results are awaited and who want to take admissions to BA courses can apply through the university-in-house-entrance exam. Hence, APU Bangalore does accept the scores of the CUET/SAT/in-house entrance exam for BA courses.

The selection criteria of Azim Premji University can slightly vary depending on the applied BA course. For some of the BA programmes, the university accepts (CUET UG) scores/ SAT scores. Additionally, for some of the BA courses, APU Bangalore accepts the scores of its in-house-university level entrance examination. This in-house entrance is mainly for those candidates, whose Class 12 results are awaited and who can apply for BA courses through the Class 11 result and can appear in this examination. Further, for the selection process candidates should appear for PI.

It is tough to compare which university is easier to get admission into for BA courses among Azim Premji University and Christ University. Both of the universities are privately owned and have similar reputations in Bangalore. However, if we compare the admission process, APU Bangalore accepts the scores of the CUET and SAT entrance examinations for admission to BA courses, and Christ University offers admission on the basis of the Christ University Entrance Test (CUET), Micro Presentation (MP), and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.

Candidates can choose any of the institutions according to their preferences. The only difference between t

The total tuition fee for BA courses at Azim Premji University is INR 13.1 lakh. On the other hand, the total tuition fee for BA courses at Joseph University ranges from INR 90,000 to INR 4 lakh. Hence, it clearly can be seen that St. Joseph University is more affordable than Azim Premji University for BA courses. However, the fee structure can be only one component that candidates consider while comparing institutes, but several factors can be taken into account while choosing the best university/ college, such as placement packages, seats, ranking of that particular institute, affiliation, accreditation, etc.
