Tata Institute of Social Sciences BA seat reservations are offered in different percentages of seats from total intake which are as follows:
- SC = 15%
- ST =7.5%
- OBC = 27.5%
- EwS = 10% from all categories
At Guwahati campus, candidates from seven north east states of India are offered 66% of total seats of BA course.

Yes, candidates can apply for BA admissions at Tata Institute of Social Sciences while awaiting Class 12 board exam results. CUET-UG registrations for BA admissions are done before Class 12 board exams. This means candidates must register for BA admissions before those results are out every year.

Candidates can begin applying for BA admissions once CUET-UG registrations begin. CUET-UG registrations begin from start of an year in January and end on last date of this month. Therefore, candidates should apply as soon as academic year begins for BA courses at Tata Institute of Social Sciences.

No, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai BA admission has been closed for academic year 2026. Candidates were required to register for CUET-UG for admission into BA courses. CUET-UG registrations were closed in the month of February.

Tata Institute of Social Sciences BA admission do not require candidates have mathematics in Class 12 to be eligible. Candidates from all streams are eligible for BA courses regardless of their chosen stream or minimum aggregate.
