Yes, admission to BA is based on the merit-cum-selection criteria at VBSPU. Besides, candidates have to fulfill the eligibility criteria as well. After selection, applicants appear in the counselling session, wherein, based on performance and seat availability, they are admitted accordingly. Therefore, the merit list is very crucial in selecting students for the BA programme at VBSPU. The merit-based admission process ensures that students seek admission based on academic performance. This allows equal and fair opportunity to all applicants.

Yes, it’s possible to switch majors if you have failed in your third year of B.A. (Psychology) and wish to repeat the year with a different major, such as B.A. History. You would need to apply for admission to the B.A. Public History at your chosen College or University. This usually means going through application again. These specifics related to changing of majors and repetition for a year are conditional; therefore, it is recommended that you consult the relevant institute from which you can have an exact idea about how this all works.

The tuition fee that a candidate has to pay, approximately, for pursuing a BA from Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University comes to the value of INR 38,622. Although the fee structure for this BA programme is not only limited to this tuition fee, other charges may be included in this fee, such as one-time charges, hostel charges, and miscellaneous charges, among others. The above fees have been taken from the institute's webpage/sanctioning body. This is hence provisional and thus illustrative.
