The candidates can download the IAS notification pdf in the following manner:

  • Go to upsc.gov.in.
  • Click on the Civil Service notification 2026 link.
  • A new window will appear. 
  • Follow the link for the Civil Service (IAS) 2026 notification pdf link given corresponding to the exam name.
  • Download and Save the notification.

The IAS notification 2026 is available here to be downloaded.

Yes, the Union Public Service Commission released the IAS 2023 interview dates for the 1,026 candidates. The UPSC IAS interview will start from January 2, 2024. In the first phase the IAS 2023 interviews will be conducted till February 16 (in the first phase). The UPSC will release the interview schedule of the remaining candidates later.

The Commission also released the IAS interview call letters on its official website - upsc.gov.in. The candidates can download their interview schedule to check their interview date and session. The UPSC IAS interviews will be conducted at Dholpur House, New Delhi only.

Yes, the IAS main result 2023 has been released online at upsc.gov.in. The Union Public Service Commission released the roll numbers of the candidates qualified for the candidates. The UPSC will conduct the IAS 2023 interviews from February to May and the final result is expected in May.

The Commission notified 1,105 vacancies for the IAS 2023 exam and in accordance with the number of vacancies, the Commission is expected to select over three thousand candidates for the interview stage.

IAS selection process takes more than one year to complete. The official IAS notification 2026 has been postponed and will be released soon at upsc.gov.in. The Civil Service result 2026 (final) will be declared in May 2027. The Commission conduct the exam in offline mode and the candidates are required to appear and clear all the stages of IAS selection process. There are three stages in the IAS selection process. These are

  1. IAS prelims
  2. IAS main (written) 
  3. IAS main (personality test)

The last date to apply for the UPSC IAS 2026 exam is February 24, 2026. The Commission released the IAS 2026 notification on February 04, 2026.

The Union Public Service Commission is expected to release the IAS main result 2023 either in December or in January 2024. The Union Public Service Commission will conduct the IAS Main 2023 exam till September 23. The IAS main exam will be conducted at the designated exam centres only. The candidates will be required to carry and show a photo identity card with the IAS main admit card.

The Commission is conducting the IAS main exam 2023 for 1,105 vacancies which is the highest in the recent years.

UPSC Civil Service (IAS) 2025 will be conducted on May 25, 2025. The Union Public Service Commission released the UPSC Civil Service (IAS) 2025 notification was released on January 22, 2025. The Commission activated the IAS 2025 online application form on its official website - upsc.gov.in. 

The last date to apply for the IAS 2025 application form was February 21, 2025.

Union Public Service Commission provides age relaxation in the upper age limit to the socially and economically backward classes because of the provisions mentioned in the Constitution of India. The Commission provides the following age relaxations to the corresponding categories to apply for the IAS exam.
