Yes, IBSAT mock tests have a time limit as of the actual exam. Mock tests are a simulation of the IBSAT exam. As soon as the student proceeds to take the IBSAT mock test, the timer will start on the top right side of the screen. The IBSAT mock test will be similar to the actual exam. Therefore, candidates are advised to check the software/hardware requirements and analyse their performance before the actual IBSAT exam. Candidates will be required to answer 140 MCQs within a time duration of two hours or 120 minutes. Timer for 120 minutes will start as soon as the candidate clicks the 'Start IBSAT Mock Test' button.

If students are found not obeying rules of examination or trying to practice unfair means, they will be disqualified from the examination. The system will find any kind of unusual movements and will notify the online proctor for:

  1. Focus changed to a different window
  2. Browser not supported
  3. Webcam is disabled

To appear for IBSAT online proctored examination, candidates must: 

  1. Use latest version of any of browsers Chrome, Edge, or Firefox. 
  2. Enable webcam and microphone on Desktop/Laptop/Tablet or Mobile. 
  3. Ad Blocker should be switched off and auto password save must be disabled. 
  4. Allow Cookies setting in browser. 
  5. All applications that use a camera, microphone, and screen sharing must be disabled.

IBSAT exam 2025 will be held on online proctored mode. Candidates appearing for the IBSAT exam must check the important instructions pertaining to IBSAT exam mentioned below:

  1. Students must login 10 minutes prior to the commencement time. Candidates will not be able to login for IBSAT exam 10 minutes after the commencement of exam.

  2. Click on tab 'national mock test'
  3. Screen will now display official rule, eligibility criteria, registration and judging prices details

Yes, you can appear for the IBSAT exam and mock test through mobile. However, for better exam day experience you are advised to take the IBSAT online exam through laptop/desktop. To appear for the IBSAT exam through mobile, you must ensure to follow the instructions for mobile:
1. Put the phone on 'do not disturb' mode while giving the test to avid any incoming call during the exam.
2. You are not allowed to take any call during the exam
3. If you are appearing for exam through mobile, you must have an additional mobile phone to contact the helpdesk for any kind of assistance. You are not allowed to use the exam taking phone for any call

  • Login through the link shared on the registered email address and enter unique ID and Date of Birth to access the IBSAT exam
  • Complete the verification process. In the first level verify facial photo and in the second level of the verification process, candidate's will have to display their IBSAT hall ticket 2025 and valid ID proof when asked.
