after post graduation in marekting you can opt to work full time by opting for campus placements, pursue certifications like digital marketing etc. to enhance your chances of getting into a good firm, take uo an internship to understand in deep about practical aspects, take up live/research projects etc.

IBS, Mumbai has a lot of companies coming in for marketing ranging from big grown to mid-size to start-ups.
Most of them offer sales profiles but some offer very niche profiles also
Average package for marketing is around 5 to 6 lacs pa.
Some of the companies which come in are:
Amul
Lodha
Amazon
ICICI Bank - FOR RM roles
and many more.

A lot of companies visit the campus for placements every year. It all depends how well you have moulded yourself in the two years of the programme and how well you articulate stuff. There are ample opportunities bought by the campus every year.

The placements in IBS Mumbai are good, in fact, better than expectations. The highest package goes upto Rs 11.5 lakhs for few selected companies such as JP Morgan Chase, Darashaw, etc. The average package goes upto Rs 5 lakhs to 6.5 lakhs for certain companies like E clerx, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Kotak Securities, Kotak Prime, HDFC Bank, Tata AIG, Bharti AXA, Lodha Group, Indiabulls Securities, Indiabulls Real estate. International placements by IBS Mumbai are too good just like domestic placements. As far as stream is concerned all matters is your interest and ability in that specific field of knowledge along with practical corporate exposure and understanding . In all the ways if we compare 2 streams for example marketing and finance, both the streams has its own pros and cons in itself. The placements and campus life In IBS Mumbai is good. There are many clubs and co curricular activities happening in IBS Mumbai . Clubs like Markophilia, Kautaliya, Synergy, Defusion, Sound Street, etc which have a lot of extra curricular activities and a part of IBS Mumbai . Its not just studies but also activities taking place . Yes it is worth .

Placements are above average but not too high . The average package is of 6.5 lakhs and the highest package is of 11.5 lakhs .No IBS Mumbai is not AICTE approved .
