However, the institute may follow the seat reservation policy of the state and the central government. These seats are filled based on the applicants' performance in the ILSAT and the personal inteview conducted by the institute. ICFAI Law School will conduct the personal interviews for BBA LLB (Hons) admission for 2025 once the ILSAT 2025 results have been released. Only the candidates who have qualified for the ILSAT 2025 exam will be called for personal interviews. As per the institute's official website, the personal interviews for Phase 1 of ILSAT are conducted in January. Similarly, the personal interviews for Phase 2 of ILSAT are conducted in April.

ILSAT is conducted by The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE), Hyderabad. Candidates willing to pursue undergraduate law courses (BBA LLB/BA LLB) at ICFAI Law School must have a valid ILSAT score. For admission to the academic year of 2026, ILSAT 2026 will be conducted in two phases. Phase 1 of the exam was conducted on Jan 08, 2025. Phase 2 of the exam was conducted on April 04, 2026.
