Exam details

The IIHM eCHAT is an online entrance exam for students who want to study hotel management at IIHM. 

The exam is objective type and has multiple-choice questions. 

The application fee for the IIHM eCHAT is INR 600. 

The application fee can be paid online or by means of a Demand Draft. 

The admit cards for IIHM eCHAT will be issued to the registered candidates via email. 

Eligibility

Students must have passed in Class 10+2 examination or its equivalent with English as one of the Subjects. 

The upper age limit is 22

The IIHM eCHAT (Electronic Common Hospitality Aptitude Test) has brought the following changes to the admission process. Currently the test is now an online proctored one, enabling candidates to sit for the test in the comfort of their homes, but the integrity of the test is maintained. This test is divided into Logical Reasoning, English, General Knowledge, Hospitality Aptitude, is timed for 60minutes and contains 50questions.

Also, the Personal Interview (PI) round has been changed to the online to make it more comfortable. It takes not more than twenty-four hours to have results of such tests; hence referring to as a method of selecting students is very efficient. The alterations it seeks to bring into the test should make it more convenient for those who would wish to take it upon entering the course in hospitality management.

IIHM eCHAT registration process is currently underway. Candidates can visit the official website to apply. To fill out the IIHM eCHAT application form, you can follow these steps:

1. Visit the IIHM eCHAT website and click on the "Apply Now" button.
2. Create an account by entering your name, email address, and mobile phone number.
3. Once you have created an account, you will be able to access the application form.
4. Fill out the application form carefully, providing all of the required information.
5. Upload the required documents, such as your academic transcripts, passport-sized photograph, and signature.
6. Pay the application fee.
7. Review your application and submit it.

The IIHM eCHAT (Electronic Common Hospitality Aptitude Test) exam is conducted for several important reasons:
