For admission to a PhD/DPM course in IIM Kolkata, aspirant must meet the eligibility criteria. Only eligible candidates can fill out the admission form. Find below the eligibility requirements for the programme:
- First Class master's or postgraduate Diploma degree in any stream and a three-year bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate, OR
- CA with a minimum of 50% aggregate or CS/ CMA with a minimum of 55% aggregate along with a BCom degree, OR
- BTech degree of four years duration with 6.5 CGPA or equivalent, OR
- Non-engineering candidates, who have undergone 10+2+5 years, are also eligible to apply for the doctoral programme

For admission to IIM Kolkata MBA, candidate must hold a valid bachelor's degree in 10+2+3 pattern with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ST/PwD candidates). Moreover, the aspirants appearing for the final year of their bachelor's degree with final year results awaiting, are also eligible to apply. However, such candidates, if selected, are granted provisional admission, only if the pre-final certificate signed by competent authorities of the previous institute/ university, the latest by June 30 of the admission year is submitted.
