The eligibility criteria for PGP programme is that Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% aggregate. In the case of an absence of a duly recognised Bachelor's degree a candidate should obtain a minimum aggregate per cent of 50 in CA/ ICWA/ CS. The entrance exams accepted include CAT and EMAT. Additionally, the duration of the course is for one-two years.

If a student has completed B.Tech or any four-year degree programme, they need to have a minimum work experience of three years to apply for Ph.D. programme. Additionally, the IIM Kozhikode Ph.D. fees is INR 1,000 (INR 2,000 for IIMB Test aspirants). The admission process include entrance exam score (at least 60 percentile), academic performance & research proposal followed by Personal Interview.

IIM Kozhikode provides modern amenities with state-of-the-art infrastructure to its students. The facilities provided by the institute include classrooms, auditoriums, guest care, eating, points, recreations, business museums, library, etc. Moreover, the students of IIM Kozhikode also get well furnished campus hostel facility both for boys and girls. Indian Institute of Management has 19 well-designed hostels which accommodates about 1400 students. These hostel rooms have been provided with a LAN and Wi-Fi connection.

IIM Kozhikode provides a list of scholarships to its students to help them financially. The institute more than 10 different scholarship schemes. Moreover, IIMK Merit Scholarship is awarded to PGP-I and PGP-II students based on their performance during one academic year, as determined by their CGPA. The highest package offered during IIM Kozhikode placements 2023 was INR 43.9 LPA whereas the highest package offered during IIM Lucknow placements 2023, was INR 42 LPA. Moreover, the average package offered for PGP-BL course at IIM Kozhikode ( batch 2023) was INR 29.23 LPA whereas the IIM Lucknow average package was INR 16.92 LPA. When compared based on fees, the IIM Kozhikode MBA fees range between INR 12 Lacs - INR 20.5 Lacs whereas IIM Lucknow MBA fees range between INR 9.5 Lacs - INR 12.6 Lacs.
