Hi Ash, the syllabus of IIMC entrance examination includes everything general and political. If I have to break it down and give you few generic examples, then I would say, general awareness, basic understanding about the social dynamics, awareness about all economic and social issues, knowledge about international affairs and how the power dynamic of the world works, the impact of the said power dynamics on India etc. Apart from these, they also look for your language capabilities, comprehension skills, analytic skills and a little bit of aptitude. Try some magazines like Frontline, India today, Outlook and get regular with them as they have the complete detailed, analyzed reports by the experts. Details about admission to IIMC-
ELIGIBILITY:
The candidate must have completed graduation from a recognised university.
ADMISSION PROCESS:
Written test: Eligible candidates need to appear for the written test conducted by the college.
Group Discussion & Personal Interview (GDPI): Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion/Personal Interview or both based on the score obtained in written test.
The applicants for NRI/NRI sponsored seats are not required to appear for a written examination. However, they will be required to appear for Group Discussion/Interview, or both.
FINAL SELECTION: Candidates are selected based on written test score and performance in Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Both the colleges are good in their own specialisation -
IIMC:
The course consists of the core curriculum (compulsory credit courses and compulsory non-credit courses), a summer internship (compulsory industry training between first and second year) and elective courses
Electives offered are Behavioural Sciences, Economics, Finance, Human Resource Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Management Centre for Human Values
In addition to the above-mentioned electives student also have an option to select from Operations, Public Policy and Management and Strategic Management
Students are provided with an option to opt for Master in Management (MIM) programme from ESCP Europe provided they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria
JMIU :
JMI (Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi ) Scholarships and Funding
Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Scholarship - Under this scheme gross fee charged by the university will be reimbursed to the student subject to the maximum limit of Rs. 10,000 per student per annum. Candidates whose family incomes is less than INR 2 LPA, who have passed 10+2 or completed graduation from a recognised university are eligible for the scholarship.
