Indus College, officially Indus University, is classed at a Tier 2 rank. It had been previously awarded for its programmes and the placements it gave, and its standards of education does not match to that scale by Tier 1 Institutions. The course offered within this university comes in multiples of courses offered, having ranked around the 115th mark with engineering colleges in India. Although it is decent in offering placement support with companies visiting its campus to recruit students, it does not belong to Tier 1, that status going only with the elite.

Generally, Indus University is known to be good for placements with the highest package being reported as INR 30 LPA in 2023 and average as around INR 6.8 LPA. About 70-80% of students get placed as the university has strong industry interfaces, along with effective placement support from the well-designed training and placement cell. Some of the top recruiters are Amazon, TCS, and Byju's. While there is some variability based on individual performance, most students are satisfied with the placement process and outcomes at Indus University. Overall, it provides a good foundation for career advancement.
