IEM Kolkata, through 17 departments, offers postgardaute, undergraduate, and other courses to students. These courses are provided across the Management, Engineering, Computer Application, and various other streams. At the undergraduate level, the college offers BTech, BCA, and others. At the postgraduate level, the college offers MCA, MBA, MCA,8 and other courses to students. MCA,1 are taught Physics, Basic Electrical Engineering, Physics Laboratory, and various other subjects.

Yes, BTech at Institute of Engineering and Management is quite good and one of the popular programmes of the college. The USPs of joining the popular programmes provided by the college are mentioned below:
- A course curriculum that is designed and periodically restructured to meet several industry requirements

IEM Kolkata placements 2025 will be updated here once out. The college is visited by top companies for placements, such as Cognizant, Oracle, Wipro, and others. As per the NIRF report 2025, the following data was released:
- From BTech, 774 students were placed, with the median salary reaching INR 6 LPA.
- Out of 292 MBA students, 257 were placed in top companies. The median package recorded during IEM Kolkata placements for 2024 was INR 16.40 LPA
- There were 23 students placed from the M.Tech programme, and the median salary was INR 3.36 LPA.

The mode of the Institute of Engineering and Management course admissions is online. IEM Kolkata admission to various UG and PG courses is based on entrance examination scores and merit. The accepted entrance exams are WBJEE, JEE Main, CAT, and others. Candidates willing to get IEM Kolkata admission must take part in the IEM College Kolkata admission process by applying online. First, students must visit the official website. Then, click on the Apply Now tab. Then, select the required course. Then, pay the application fee. Then, fill out and submit the application form with the required information.

Survival at IEM Kolkata is quite easy for new students as the seniors and teachers are very supportive. The college treats every individual equally. There is no descrimination done to any student. The students feel happy studying in this college. IEM Kolkata has a good campus. The institute's campus is equipped with all the facilities and utilities required by the students during the course duration.
