This Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology accepts three entrance exam scores for admission to BHMCT (Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology) couse. They are

  1. National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM JEE)
  2. Maharashtra Hotel Management Common Entrance Test (MAH HM CET)
  3. Maharashtra Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology Common Entrance Test (MAH BHMCT CET)

In this three entrance exams, first one is conducted by central goverment and remaining two are conducted maharastra state government.

BHMCT (Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology) placements are very good at Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology. In this college, placements are very good because of MoU's and link-ups with top hotels chains like taj, oberoi etc. and Food chain companies like KFC, starbucks etc. From last few years placements percentage is around 90 percent for this BHMCT course. Average package also lies between 3 - 5 lakhs. This shows us that placements in this college is very good.

I would say pursuing the Certificate Courses at Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology college is not that much expensive when compared to other colleges which are offering same course. This college is certificate courses with reasonable fees. In this college, there are few certificate courses available which all have same fees for all courses. Fee for a all certificate course is 40,000. When compared to placement package you will get after completion of this course, this fee is very reasonable. Finally, doing certificate course in this college is not expensive.

For Certificate Courses programme offered by Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, the candiddate must meet eligibility criteria to get admission. The eligibility criteria is the candidates who want to do the certification course should have completed their 10+2 (intermediate) level of Education with English as one of its major subjects. However this institute also allow 10th passed students from Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or from any other state board or from any recoginzed board.

The fee for Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (BHMCT) at Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology is 298000 INR for whole course. Actually, Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology is a four year course. So, you have to pay around 74500 INR annum. This is only for academic fees, there are some other fees also like examination fee for every semester, building fee for every year, transportation fee (if opted) and hostel fee (if opted). These fees may change for every 3 - 4 years

No, you can not join for BHMCT (Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology) in Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology college without entrance exam called MAH HM CET ( Maharashtra Hotel Management Common Entrance Test). Because there is only one way to join any course in this college, that is on merit based. For this you need to meet eligibility criteria and require a non zero score in entrance test. So without MAH HM CET, you can not join in this college.
