The reputation and rankings of this Institute are quite good and thus, this Institute will be a good option for all the courses offered. This Institute was ranked 2nd in West Bengal and 34th in India by career 360. Proper laboratories and workshops are there for getting a good practical experience of the subject. The reviews of students about this Institute are mainly positive, students have rated the infrastructure, faculty members and other facilities as decent. Number of students who will be able to do M.Pharma in Pharmacology at Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology totally depends on the seats intake for this specialization. The seats intake is 15 for every specialisation of M.Pharma at this Institute, so it will be same only for pharmacology. The total seats intake is 105 with 7 different specializations of this course. Cutoff for entrance exam will be released according to seats intake only, and as the seats are very limited, you are suggested to prepare nicely for entrance exam.

The following is the fees structure for B.Pharma at Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology:-
- Tution fees:- Total tution fees for this course is 6.04 lacs.
- Hostel fees:- Hostel fees for total 4 years is 2.93 lacs.
- One time payment:- Amount for one time payments like caution fees, admission fees etc. is 19.3 k.

WB JEE Cutoff required to take admission for B.Pharma at Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and technology is not fixed. The cutoff varies every year, so a fixed cutoff to take admission cannot be stated. Although if we see the previous year cutoffs, that was 8710 in 2022 and 10231 in 2021, we can predict a rough idea about the expected cutoff. So for next year, it can be predicted that cutoff may range from 7000 to 12000. So you must prepare for the entrance exam accordingly.

Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology, GNIPST ranked #74 among Pharmacy in NIRF 2024 rankings. Earlier it was ranked at #87 in 2023. It has proven that the institute indeed has quality education and training for pharmaceutical sciences. Eligibility criteria for the D.Pharma course offered by Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology (GNIPST):
Academic Qualification: Candidate must have passed 10+2 from any Indian board.
The combination of subjects must include three out of four: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.
General merit: The general merit may be in the range of 45% aggregate and above.

Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology does not offer the MPharma course. The college offers only the DPharma course. To be eligible for the course, the candidates need to have a minimum of 50% marks in class 12th in a relevant stream from any recognised board.

Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology is generally a Tier 2 college. But pharmacy education is always special and well known for its approval by both AICTE and PCI. It has a fair placement record and offers several programs; however, it is nowhere close to the Tier 1 level in terms of national acceptance or facilities available. Usually, it would consist of well-established institutions that allow for broader learning curriculums alongside better scores on national scores.
GNIPST is, however, a very respectable alternative for students interested in the pharmaceutical sciences and falls under Tier 2 institutions
