Yes, Nirma University conducts a Computer Based Entrance Test for admission to MSc programme offered under Institute of Science. The test includes 100 multiple-choice questions of 100 marks. The duration of the test is 90 minutes. Besides, the university also conducts an entrance test for PhD programme. The syllabus of the test consists of 50% of research methodology and 50% is subject-specific.

Institute of Science, Nirma University does not offers direct admission. The institute selects candidates based on their scores in entrance exam conducted by the university. Aspirants applying for PhD programmes also need to pass a university-level entrance test or provide a valid score in UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, GATE, etc. Once selected, candidates are offered seat in the institute.
