- 55,000 per year (50,000 hostel charges + 5,000 one-time caution money)

- Facilities: Wi-Fi, recreation hall, TV, newspapers, attached bathroom

For B.E / B.Tech admission at Kalaignar Karunanidhi Institute of Technology KKIT, you need to have passed class twelve with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.

General category students need at least 45 percent marks in these subjects combined.

Reserved category students need to have around 40 to forty 45 percent marks.

Admission is done through TNEA counselling based on your class 12th marks.

Direct / lateral entry into second year is possible for Diploma holders based on their Diploma percentage.

Single room+mess: can cost around Rs.55,000 annually

Double sharing+mess: can cost about Rs.40,000 annually

Triple sharing+mess: can cost about Rs.30,000 annually  

Alternatively, some reviews mention yearly hostel costs varying from about Rs.55,000 to 75,000 .

So you can expect to pay something around Rs.30,000 and Rs.75,000 per year, depending on your chosen accommodation and preferred meal plan.
