- A pass in a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline as recognised by AIU with at least 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA is required to apply for EPGDM course.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline as recognised by their respective resident countries' appropriate agencies with a minimum 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA in the course can also apply.
- A minimum of three years of post-qualification experience as an executive or a self-employed professional is also required.

The mode of application is online for all courses. Students should pay the non-refundable application fee of Rs 2,250. In addition, if the applicant desires to apply for another course at, then the students must pay INR 500 per course. The application processing fee can be paid through online payment gateway or Bank Transfer. No receipts are to be sent to IMI New Delhi Admission Office directly in any case. The total tuition fee for EPGDM course is INR 7.68 lakh as per an unofficial source. Aspirants are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Apart from the course fee, candidates need to pay a registration fee in the start of the admission process. Candidates need to pay a non-refundable application fee of INR 2,200 plus 18% GST.
