Those who have a bachelor's or equivalent degree, with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university are eligible for IMI Kolkata Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)  programme. At least 3 years of bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification, class 10 and class 12 school education is a must. Those who are appearing in the final year of their bachelor's degree are also eligible, provided they furnish proof of meeting the minimum eligibility criteria. Also, candidates must have a relevant work experience. 

IMI Kolkata is India's first corporate-sponsored buisness School. The Institute's flagship programme Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) with effect from 2016. The programme is also internationally accreditation by AMBA. Meanwhile, as per the placement reports of 2021-2022 the highest package was INR 14 LPA, the average package was 10.45 LPA and the median package was 10.50 LPA. Yes, IMI Kolkata does offer certificate course. Post Graduate Certificate in Financial Market (PGCFM) and Certificate Programme in Data Science is the two certificate in IMI Kolkata. PGCFM is an eleven months executive weekends programme which specialises in Financial Market. Whereas, Data Science covers a duration of seven months which specialises in intelligence data analysis. After completion of the courses students will be awarded with a professiinal certificate by the Institution. 

FPM ( Fellow Programme In Management) is a doctoral-level programme offered by IMI Kolkata. The course covers a duration of four years. The eligibility criteria is to have a first class score in Master's degree. Admission procedure plays a crucial role, which is two step process:

• The candidate have to submit admission form with Relevant Documents and Research Proposal
• The final step includes shortlisting of the candidates on the basis of  research proposal and evaluation of past academic performance for presentation followed by a personal interview for final selection.

Yes, IMI Kolkata accepts CAT score for admission to MBA level programmes. A valid CAT score is required to clear the selection process of IMI Kolkata like majority of the other MBA institutions.
