Get an IB-centered certification, if possible; for example, CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst). You could start with financial modeling to understand investment instruments and analysis tools better. Hi, Yes, you can get the job as an Investment banker after B.Com. But to get the job in investment banking you need to do a certification course in Investment banking

You can get into the field irrespective of if you have a background in science, arts or commerce as far as your subjects are related like maths and economics. To make a career in investment banking, you should have a Bachelor's degree, which belongs to the finance/commerce background. Knowledge of Economics is even better, not a pre-requisite though. If you have a certification in Investment banking it will be added advantage for you. Join an Investment Bank as an Investment Banker. You may need to gain expertise in assessing financial risks and project abilities to get the recruitment easier. Additional knowledge about the Banks activities in the area will be useful too.

Apply for internships during your Bachelor's degree and get an offer of a full time job when you graduate. Apply for internships or graduate jobs during a Masters in Finance in course. Keep on interning even after you've graduated. Apply during a top MBA. Apply after completing an ACA qualification. Apply after a Ph.D.
