JDT Islam College of Arts And Science has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| BCA | Candidate passed 12th/HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto with Mathematics/ Computer Science/Computer Application/ Information Technology/Informatics Practice /Informatics/ Additional Mathematics as one of the subjects are eligible for admissions. |
| BBA | Candidate passed 12th/HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto, with the mentioned marks eligible for admissions. SC/ST candidates need get only a pass. |
| B.A. | Candidates who have passed the HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto are eligible for admission. A weightage of 20 marks will be given to those who have studied English, Functional English and Communicative English as optional subject for HSE or equivalent examination. |
| B.Sc. | Candidate passed 12th/HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto with Science and Biology are eligible for admission |
| B.Com | Candidate passed 12th/HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto with at least one commerce subject are eligible for admissions to the B.Com degree course. Candidates who have not studied commerce subject for Higher Secondary or an equivalent examination with the mentioned marks are also eligible. SC/ST candidates need get only a pass. |
