The following candidates are eligible to appear in JAC Chandigarh counselling round 2:
- Type–I: Registered candidates who were not allotted a seat in the First round. These candidates may visit the website and modify their earlier choices (OPTIONAL) else choices submitted in the First Round shall continue to be considered in this round.
- Type–II: Candidates who were allotted a seat in the First round of Counselling and paid the seat acceptance fee and submitted willingness “No upgradation”. These candidates will not be allowed to modify their choices in the Second round. Note: Their earlier allotted s

JEE Main Paper 2A (BArchitecture) score is acceptd for BArch admission via JAC Chandigarh. Additionally, candidates must have passed 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and also 50% in aggregate of 5 subjects. Or, passed 10+3 Diploma examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

The JAC Chandigarh counselling process includes registration, document verification, choice filling, seat allotment and physical reporting to the allotted college. There are usually 3 rounds of counselling and 1 spot round.
