Although all of the courses offered at Jai Hind College are equally well-taught and populated, Jai Hind's history as a renowned commerce college in South Bombay locality has proved to be an advantage. Because of its impressive alumni base, the majority of students prefer to enrol in its commerce course.

The cost is determined by the course you choose. The price range for an aided course like B.A. Is between 6-10k INR. The cost of self finance courses like BBI, BAF & B.Sc. Etc. Can range from 30k-70k INR. The majority of extra expense for out-of-town students will go towards housing and transportation.

Jai Hind College does not have a dorm system, however if you are an outstation student, you can search for hostels or housing in the lush green South Bombay neighborhood or ask the course's relevant HOD for guidance. You can also approach the seniors for help.

Jai Hind College provides its students with a clean canteen, air conditioned classrooms, library with a wide range of books, auditorium, gym, sports room, basketball court, a convenience store inside the college and computer and Science lab.

Jai Hind College released its third inhouse merit list 2022 for undergraduate admission to courses, such as FY BCom FY BSc and FY BA on July 27. The first and second inhouse merit list 2022 for undergraduate admission to courses, such as FY BCom FY BSc and FY BA was released on June 21 and July 12, respectively. Colleges affiliated with the University of Mumbai (MU) release three to four multiple merit lists every year followed by a counselling and document verification process to offer admission to students for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
